1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D assay

Fujifilm launched the QuickGene-810 Nucleic Acid Isolation System worldwide in April 2005. Oxoid extends range of rapid identification tests

The wide selection of identification tests available from Oxoid has been extended to include the rapid and convenient RapID range. These easy to use test panels provide accurate and reliable identifications of a broad range of micro-organisms in just four hours û and in as little as two hours for selected organisms.

Thermo Electron has launched the latest version of its protein identification software suite, BioWorks 3.2, which enables scientists and researchers to quickly and accurately identify proteins. BioWorks is designed to support ThermoÆs entire range of Finnigan ion-trap mass spectrometers.

NEW Sterilising Wipes

Decontamination specialist Lancer has introduced a new sterilising wipe, Lancer SUPROX. Unlike many other wipes which are only bactericidal, SUPROX are also virucidal, fungicidal and, importantly, sporicidal. Not only will it help combat the frontline healthcare issues of MRSA and hospital acquired infection generally but it is ideal for disinfecting surfaces in laboratories where micro-organisms and infection are a potential problem.
