AnalytiChem UK strengthens customer focus with new appointment

AnalytiChem UK (formerly Cherwell), cleanroom microbiology solutions expert, has appointed Tom Pickford as Business Development Manager for the Midlands. This is a new role created within the recently renamed company to enhance collaboration and support for both new and existing customers across this central region of the UK.

Through Tom’s appointment, AnalytiChem UK (the new name for Cherwell) continues the company’s longstanding customer-centric approach, ensuring its customers’ individual environmental monitoring and validation requirements are fully understood and met. Within his new role, Tom will work closely with customers to deliver the right solutions to help them achieve compliance and confidence in their controlled environments and processes.

Enabling him to work in partnership with and comprehend his customers’ specific needs, Tom holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Nottingham and has extensive experience working with scientific and manufacturing companies. He previously worked as a Business Development Manager helping cleanroom teams source niche materials used in the R&D and manufacture of sensors, photovoltaics and microelectronics; and also, as a Senior Recruitment Consultant – liaising with quality and R&D teams in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

“I’m thrilled to have joined AnalytiChem UK at such an exciting time, with the integration within the AnalytiChem Group and introduction of brand new Redipor prepared media products,” said Tom Pickford, Business Development Manager, AnalytiChem UK. “I’ve always enjoyed helping customers in the scientific industry to solve challenges, from finding skilled staff to niche cleanroom materials, and will now be helping pharmaceutical companies to ensure compliance and keep patients safe!”

Through its ongoing integration within the AnalytiChem Group, AnalytiChem UK will be expanding its product and application offerings, building on its existing presence in the food and beverage testing, water testing and clinical diagnostics markets, as well as continuing to serve the pharmaceutical and related industries.
