Thornhill Healthcare Events' 10th face-to-face event will see the main topic of discussion be the government's forthcoming 10-year plan and the part clinical innovations will play in delivering improved patient care and true service transformation.
The programme (available to download on the booking page) is filled with a wide range of expert speakers driving the conversation and debate through presentations, and six breakout sessions hosted by a panel of leaders in the sector. Delegates attending will also benefit from a large exhibition featuring the latest clinical diagnostics and healthcare solutions. Delegates can customise their experience by attending the breakout sessions of their choice, making this a truly flexible day.
The one-day event takes place on 15 May at Jubilee Hotel and Conference Centre, Nottingham, UK.
The event’s first speaker will be Dr John Ribchester, PCN Clinical Director and Chair of 10 Year Health Plan working groups, whose topic for discussion will be ‘The 10 Year Health Plan – delivering change not rhetoric’. Completing the morning will be a round of breakout workshops, with delegates able to attend two of the sessions on offer, which will be covering
POC blood gas reference range harmonisation; digital technologies; the IBMS Point of Care Specialist Portfolio; COPD action; innovation in healthcare sciences; and POCT connectivity.
Main feature of the afternoon session will be presentations from three healthcare leaders on how best to stimulate innovation, followed by a question-and-answer session.
