Visitor registration for Lab Innovations 2024 is now live. The UK’s largest annual exhibition for the whole laboratory industry will take place at the NEC, Birmingham, on 30-31 October, featuring engaging talks and exhibitors that will showcase innovation and champion sustainability.
Lab Innovations had record attendance last year with 4,362 visitors across two days, including individuals from key names in the laboratory industry such as UKRI, Unilever and AstraZeneca. This year, the number of attendees is set to grow with the show hosting brand new forums along with popular activities from previous years.
They will also be joined by over 200 exhibitors from the laboratory industry including Waters, Sartorius, Veolia Water Technologies, SciMed, Alpha Laboratories Limited, Scientific Laboratory Supplies, IKA, Analytix, Bronkhorst UK and Integra Biosciences.
One of the biggest reasons to visit this year is the show’s brand-new Quality Infrastructure Forum (QI Forum). Hosted by some of the biggest names in laboratory accreditation including the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, the National Physical Laboratory and the British Standards Institution, the forum provides delegates with the opportunity to expand on their knowledge of laboratory accreditations, technical assessments, quality and how AI will be used in future laboratory work.
Free-to-attend lectures will return to the agenda, spread across four conference theatres. Delegates can look forward to talks from our keynote speakers in The Royal Society of Chemistry Theatre and Laboratory News brings the Insights and Innovations Theatre to discuss this year’s lab industry updates. Additionally interactive discussions in the Live Lab and Ask the Experts zone will explore exhibitor’s innovations and how they can support the work of Lab Innovation’s visitors.
Sustainability remains a core topic of the event. The Sustainable Lab hosted by Andy Evans from Green Light Laboratories champions sustainability once again, highlighting simple ways the lab industry can have a sustainable future in one of the shows biggest installations. Other key topics include Automation, data & AI; cost management; accreditation; regulation & legislation and technical product advice.
