Time to deliver - assessing the UK’s 2024-2029 AMR Action Plan

In May 2024, the UK released its second Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Action Plan. Created by the health agencies of England and the devolved administrations, along with DEFRA and DEARA (NI), the plan aspires to set out “ambitions and actions for the next five years in support of the 20-year vision for antimicrobial resistance (AMR)”. 

 

Quantifying the value of AI in real-world laboratories

Quest Diagnostics commissioned a feasibility study in conjunction with Proscia and Ibex Medical Analytics in order to quantify the value of digital pathology and artificial intelligence workflows in a real-world diagnostic laboratory. Pathology in Practice presents an extract of the report.
