International Imaging Congress to host Digital Pathology Summit

International Imaging Congress 2023 is coming to London Olympia on 31 October – 1 November, giving visitors the chance to shape and inspire their learning with insights and expertise from leading experts, as they share their visions for the future of medical imaging, diagnostic oncology, and digital pathology.

International Imaging Congress (IIC) is the technology event for the global medical imaging community. Join future-focused clinicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, and trailblazers, to uncover the path to a more accurate and efficient future in healthcare. This is the opportunity to learn more about what technology is coming now and what may come in the future.

International Imaging Congress is unique, not only in the scale and profile of the audience, but in its outlook and focus, as Steve Clarke from organiser ROAR B2B explains: “With significant developments in AI, big data, telehealth and automation driving digital transformation within medical imaging, we felt that there was a requirement for an event that provided a best-practice roadmap for healthcare professionals responsible for the deployment of advanced technologies. IIC23 celebrates the emerging technologies that will complement the existing expertise, knowledge and skills within the sector, while also providing a platform for pioneers to share their stories and insights”.

When at the event, delegates can take their pick from two concurrent conferences; The Future Radiology and Oncology Summit, and Digital Pathology Summit.

Event Chairman Dr Scott Marshall gives an insight into what to expect: “I am supporting this conference because we are looking at the future of healthcare - what tomorrow may look like. This is only possible through bringing together those delivering healthcare with those that develop the technology to support it. We will show early uptake and innovation with the aim to discuss and build an image of what the next decade of pathology may look like.”

IIC are looking to change the way conferencing is done. Moving away from academic plenary lectures, the event will have townhall sessions, sofa chats, point/counterpoints discussions and fireside chats. Delegates will discover how cutting-edge tech and artificial intelligence are set to improve patient health, leading to personalised treatment plans and increased workflow efficiencies for clinical and technical teams.

International Imaging Congress includes an interactive exhibition of tech providers, including Fujifilm, Neurologica, Sectra, Leica Biosystems, Gleamer, Lifetrack Medical, Teleconsult and many others.

Clinicians and technicians working in either a public or private hospital settings can attend for free. To book tickets and to see the full programme, visit the website - www.internationalimagingcongress.com.
