Support for ground-breaking brain tumour research
INTEGRA Biosciences is supporting vital translational research into diffuse intrinsic ponsglioma (DIPG) – a rare childhood brain tumour.
Dr Alexander Beck’s DIPG Fighter research group at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) focuses on finding new therapies for DIPG, which usually affects children between five and nine years of age, with no significant long-term survival beyond five years.
The group routinely uses a range of INTEGRA products – including the ASSIST PLUS pipetting robot, VOYAGER adjustable tip spacing pipettes, EVOLVE manual pipettes and PIPETBOY acu 2 pipette controllers – and INTEGRA is delighted to be supporting this valuable work with this year’s festive donation, helping the rapid translation of research findings to the clinic.
