Improvement in quality performance: a solid working partnership

An important partnership between Beckman Coulter and Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has resulted in the equipping of hospitals in the trust with up-to-date laboratory solutions at the cutting edge of analyser technology.

Beckman Coulter has entered into a new working partnership with Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, providing Worcestershire Royal Hospital and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch with the latest laboratory solutions currently available. The rollout comes at a crucial time, when efficiency and accuracy are at a premium, positioning Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust as one of leading hospitals across the country.

            Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides a wide range of services to a population of 580,000 people in Worcestershire, as well as caring for patients from surrounding counties and further afield, amounting to some 800,000 people depending on the service. In 2019, the trust provided care to more than 230,000 patients, which is 40% of the Worcestershire population.
