Throughout the pandemic, Alpha Laboratories has been supplying a range of swabs and transport tubes to help facilitate testing demands. The company has also provided expertise and supplies to support compliant specimen transport.
Once a swab sample has been collected there are strict guidelines regarding how it should be packaged for transport to the laboratory. This must be in accordance with UN 3373 regulations, which require the use of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials to provide a triple layer compliant system.
