Innovative haemostasis systems for routine and special testing

The CN-Series of analysers from Sysmex has now undergone multi-centre validation and verification work in the UK ahead of global introduction in 2021. Here, the company introduces the equipment and its various hardware and software features.

When it comes to the pace of product development and the introduction of new, innovative analysers, few diagnostic companies can match the record of Sysmex. Across the business fields of haematology, haemostasis and urinalysis, the company has a history of annual product releases that have each raised the bar for the discipline concerned.

It will be the turn of haemostasis in 2021 to see a new platform in the shape of the CN-Series. Previewed at the 2020 International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Virtual Congress, the CN-Series offers new hardware, improved software and the introduction to haemostasis testing of the tracked workcell concepts pioneered by Sysmex haematology systems, and will give users new options in maximising the performance of their service.

The CN-Series includes two models, the CN-3000 and CN-6000, to ensure that laboratories of any size are catered for with a solution that meets their throughput requirements and size constraints. Both systems, identical in size and shape, have a smaller footprint than the current Sysmex CS-5100 analysers.
