Method comparison studies in biomedical science

Following the success of article series on measurement uncertainty and internal quality control, Stephen MacDonald is now turning his attention to method comparison, starting in the August issue of Pathology in Practice.

In the upcoming issue, we begin with an introduction to what will be covered in the series in subsequent issues of the magazine, which will see consideration of Study design; Acceptable performance; Quantitative assay comparisons; Qualitative assay comparisons; Common Statistics for comparisons; Additional Statistics for comparisons; and Report writing for comparisons and conclusions.
