A recent case study, poster and paper provide compelling evidence to support the efficacy of the latest diagnostic system and assays from Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. The following trio of reports from across Europe provides independent support for the value of Beckman Coulter’s DxN VERIS Molecular Diagnostics System and assays in routine virological practice.
Increased efficiency and faster viral load results
A newly released case study, available from Beckman Coulter, describes the experiences of Niguarda Hospital’s Molecular Biology Laboratory in the assessment of the DxN VERIS Molecular Diagnostics System. Involving fewer steps and reagents, DxN VERIS increased laboratory efficiency and allowed faster turnaround of viral load results.
With an important Italian transplant centre located at the Milan hospital, cytomegalovirus (CMV) analyses are vital and results are needed without delay. In addition, the Molecular Biology Laboratory performs viral load measurements for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and hepatitis B virus (HBV) in order to evaluate and monitor therapeutic responses.
