Adiponectin added to research test menu

Randox Adiponectin is an automated biochemistry test offering a new and exciting technique for adiponectin measurement that moves away from traditional, laborious enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) products.

In recent times the significant role played by adiponectin has been highlighted, with low levels of adiponectin associated with a range of disease states including type 2 and gestational diabetes risk, cardiac diseases, breast cancer and hypertension.

Key features of the Randox Adiponectin test include that it is an automated immunoturbidimetric assay, removing the inconvenience and time consumption associated with ELISA-based testing; liquid ready-to-use reagents; and extensive measuring range; suitable for use on a range of clinical chemistry analysers via instrument-specific applications; and liquid calibrator and controls available, delivering a complete testing package.
