Healthcare technology company expansions

A leading healthcare technology company is putting in place an acquisition strategy after revealing it is on course to more than double turnover this year. MSoft eSolutions will increase revenues from £1 million to over £2.2 million in the current financial year.

The Merseyside-based company has also strengthened its senior management team by recruiting Paul Coburn (pictured right) as finance director and promoting Robert Fawcett (pictured left) to the role of operations director. Paul Coburn will work closely with managing director Matt McAlister (pictured centre) in developing and implementing an acquisition strategy for the business. Robert Fawcett will now help to appoint two new sales managers.

MSoft has two main divisions to its business. First, the company provides health trusts with its innovative blood-tracking software, Bloodhound, enabling positive identification of users and patients and in-depth auditing of all bloods across each stage of the transfusion process. Second, MSoft is well established in the community equipment stores sector with its own internet-based solution, MICES, that links each partner, store and prescriber. Equipment can be ordered, stock availability checked and delivery progress monitored at the touch of a button.
