Biochip array technology system

The Evidence Investigator is a sophisticated biochip system designed for research, veterinary, clinical and forensic applications with an impressive 54 samples analysed per run.

The Evidence Investigator utilises Randox’s revolutionary biochip array technology (BAT) which allows the simultaneous detection of multiple analytes from a single sample volume as low as 25 µL. A single 9 x 9 mm biochip acts as the reaction vessel, replacing multiple cuvettes in this bench-top semi-automated analyser. The easy-to-use and compact biochip imaging platform comprises super-cooled charge coupled device (CCD) camera and customised image processing software.

The Evidence Investigator has a wide test menu available including cardiac, cytokine, drugs-of-abuse, cerebral, thyroid, adhesion molecules, tumour monitoring, fertility, Ranplex CRC DNA array, growth promoter and antimicrobial arrays. In addition to the extensive range of existing analytes, over 220 new tests are in development.
