Automated microbalances

Mettler Toledo has launched automated versions of its MX5 microbalance and UMX2 ultra microbalance. The MX5 Automated-S and the UMX2 Automated-S are ideal for research and development applications. The new models reduce working time to one-third, enabling greater productivity and ultimately improving cost-effectiveness.

The new microbalances automate the whole weighing procedure once the sample is placed on the sample lift. A smaller weighing chamber with automated lid improves precision and eliminates draught, while the specially developed sample lift keeps the sample in the correct position.

These new microbalances can be integrated into automated processes to achieve higher productivity and greater reliability.
