Improved control of anticoagulation therapy

Roche has launched its new CoaguChek XS Connect device, which makes anticoagulation therapy monitoring with the CoaguChek XS system even more convenient, whether that be in the home or in the clinical setting.

Oral anticoagulation therapy is an important treatment for patients with specific medical conditions. Frequent monitoring to support drug dosing adjustments has proved to be an essential element in the success of any therapy.

With the help of the CoaguChek XS Connect system, review of a patient’s test results, recognition of trends and confident decisionmaking become easier.

The device provides customisable reports and trend graphs, which can be reviewed on the computer screen, stored or printed out. No software installation is required, as the device simply plugs in to a USB port. Results from the CoaguChek XS can also be viewed in Microsoft Excel, stored on the computer or sent by email.
