Tecan has launched the latest version of its easy-to-use, intuitive Freedom EVOware software, designed to control and maximise the performance of the Freedom EVO series of liquid-handling platforms. Freedom EVOware version 2.1 contains many new features that offer substantial improvements in throughput and operating speed, userfriendliness and data management.
Improvements include modular user management that allows several installations to share one user database, making it possible to use account information from an external source (eg Microsoft Windows-based systems).
Freedom EVOware also supports the new 8 Plus 1 Access option for the Freedom EVO 75, offering optimised worklisting and disposable tip handling.
